Careful when u search for the domain

Every time i search for a domain using namecheap for the last 2 years if i leave it for one hour its gone and owned by sav its not one domain it happened with me with couple of domains ,even i contacted the support tech and they were nervouse to talk about it sp of it happend with anybody contact me to do something about it. Also the day i register a domain , they create a profile using the domain name in couple of the social networking sites. Like facebook and youtube with dummy content and they never use it

I use https://vercel.com/domains to search for domain availability. Simplistic interface, fast, and domain is not their core business, so I don’t think they would do such thing.

Interesting, curious if you have any examples? Seems like a waste of time for a company to create a bunch of social accounts with dummy content just because of a domain name.

Bro domain name costs 9$ /year and they sell it for 380$ min and some times more than 10000$ so it big money for them to collect what other people interested in and they 100% sure that people will buy it from them. I created this account only because i was searching to find out if other people has the same issues and i found one of the members had same issue with same company. I do think you are one of those spammers who is trying to scam us by negative commenting on a post was created to help others or you r working for that company and want me to give u the example to know who I'm and know how to deal with me Good luck

I prepare in advance to prevent just this kind of problem.

When I come up with a good name I want to register, I never search for it through domain search tools. Instead, I put together a list of at least 2-3 backup names.

When I'm 104% sure I'm ready to register the name, I proceed with the registrar's search and purchase flow. If the preferred name is taken, I go through the list of backups and register the first available one.

You're welcome. I came up with this plan because I'm already aware of such hijacking problems.
