Thanks Anthony! Cataloged lets you organize your links, notes, files, and contacts however works best for you. Once data is cataloged it can be labeled, added to visual collection boards, connected to eachother (notes <-> note, file <-> note, link <-> contact, etc), included in a saved search (essentially a super powered folder) and more. Soon you'll be able to import from tools like Google Drive, Dropbox, Google Calendar, etc so you can easily find what you're looking for in one tool.
I would condense and put some of this information on the landing page. That is the first thing everyone will ask in their minds when visiting the landing page. What does this software do? How does it compare to tool X which I have already seen?
This is really great feedback- I plan on expanding this page a bit more once I get some initial feedback and find the gaps in info.
Do you think direct comparisons like that are useful? e.g. "Evernote does X - Cataloged is better since we do Y" .
Direct feature comparison table is one way to go. Another way is to highlight the differentiating features without mentioning the competition.
When I use evernote I sometimes add tags, and have a structure for things like title, but otherwise don't do too much organizing. Would be neat if it could use contextual clues to "auto organize" to a degree. I can't see myself sitting down and organizing existing stuff very often.
