Celebrating 125 subscribers!

Woke up earlier today to see an exciting number- SeriousGamesJobs.com has just added the 125th subscriber to the weekly email digest!

Given the site is built for such a niche community, it's really encouraging to see this much steady growth. One thing which surprised me is how much traffic (just over 50%) to the site appears to have come from people emailing their friends and coworkers, as opposed to inbound traffic linked from other sites.

I've been experimenting with the format of the digest for some time, and moved towards larger numbers of jobs with tags rather than long descriptions. This has resulted in far more engagement from our users- better open rates (~30-60%) and more jobs viewed with every email sent (~6%-10% of users view at least one job from every email).
