I launched remoteplanet.io just today! It's on Beta but I plan to keep working on it to make it more useful. Any feedback would be appreciated :)
Love your landing page. Well structured web page. I think you should place images on the upper content to replace all of the text inside the boxes, that part is quite annoying.

Some nice progress yesterday, between cleaning house, wrapping presents and other pleasant stuff. Trying to escape the family duties for a bit this morning so I can get the rest of the app done 😅
What I have done yesterday
✅ Finished the backend for creating and saving resolutions
✅ Fix small issues around resolution saving and displaying
✅ Styled the resolution view
✅ Deployed on heroku at https://resolut.herokuapp.com
Plan for December 23
🔳 Set up the domain with heroku
🔳 Set up SSL certificate for https
🔳 Make a video to show the app for the launch (any suggestion on how to make this?)
I am pretty much on track, I really hope to manage to set up the certificate on heroku. Plan to use opensSSL but I have never don it before. I also want to make the video, also that would be a first time for me. So wish me luck!🤞
Not strictly for videos, but if you want to make GIFs (to highlight features for example) I strongly recommend Gifox. Very happy user (although I had to use 3rd party tools to compress the GIFs properly)

My pleasure! I found this tool pretty powerful to compress GIFs: ezgif.com/optimizer
Especially "Remove every nth frame" and "Optimize Transparency".
I was able to take down some long GIFs from 3MB to a couple hundred KB, with an acceptable quality (for the intended purpose I had)
