Hi all, I am currently in the process of building a self-improvement SaaS and I was wondering where people usually go to survey people to test for validation? Also, do you usually do this?
I honestly plan on building the product regardless of the responses, but I thought it would be good if I had more data (at least on how to market the product/recruit my initial users).
I have currently posted this in a couple of subreddits which I believe will contain my target market, but I am unsure where else to look for people. I have offered a chance of winning a $100 Amazon Gift Card as an incentive as well.
Since I am here asking this, I may as well provide the opportunity to the IndieHackers community to partake in this as well as this was where I got inspired to go from an idea I had in my mind to building something real which I wish I had: https://forms.gle/iKETjtutYQmE1dvP7.
I wrote this for my reference. You can try few of the options given here. https://blog.blocksurvey.io/how-to-do-market-research-for-free
Also the audience you are looking for usually hangs out at sub reddits or niche communities. Approach those communities for validation. It could be helpful.
Thanks for the article, it was very helpful! I submitted it in a few of the places you suggested on Reddit and am looking into a few of the other recommendations!
Thanks.
