Changing YouTube Policies And What Can You Do?

It is no secret that YouTube is slowly becoming less and less accessible to small content creators , the elitism of content creation is becoming more and more rampant. The algorithm has a few things that works against small content creators but the worst part is the ad policy . One obviously has to understand that YouTube is a free platform but the fact that ads are displayed on content of small creators is causing a strong dislike for this platform.
Let me explain the issue with ads on content for small creators , it is a known fact that ads cause the retention of a video to drop and that may not be an issue for big channels due to higher traffic and earnings from these ads but a small YouTuber is just losing the chance to become the big creator that actually benefits from these ads.
The easiest way to counter this is to create content that is small but engaging so that till you get there you can catch people's attention by short , entertaining videos.
