it all depends on resources provided within the community platform. I started seedfunding which is a platform for showcasing your start up for early stage investing, I guess it comes down to the value of it. so for example our yearly fee is $20. monthly fees are becoming less attractive.
I think one example would be https://nomadlist.com/ and I think they have a similar concept.

Why do you keep spamming your link everywhere? Every thread I read you somehow manage to talk about your product and provide a link to it. It feels very fake and based on the engagement of your posts, you must sense it does not bring much value to others.
@disrael It's great to be a part of the community, but @viperfx is correct. If you repeatedly post a link to your own stuff on IH it's quite likely that one of my spam scripts will eventually auto-ban you.
I get that you feel like you're under pressure to grow, but if everyone on IH posted links to their products in irrelevant places, this community would cease to function. Therefore nobody should.
@csallen I get that its your site but I strongly disagree with you. The link to our website of choice should just be included in our comment information like our name and how long ago we made the comment.
If IH is not going to be a resource for bootstrappers to survive then the community will just fragment and professionals will go one way and casual hobbyists another. I'm actually currently advising a group trying to build a more friendly to real products community.
