Charging in USD for your app when you live outside the US

My app is for global and the natural path is to charge in USD.

I wanted to know which payment gateways IHs are using in order to charge in USD while withdrawing their money in their home countries outside US.

    PayPal, Paddle and Gumroad

Stripe – they'll convert it and drop it into a foreign account in the local currency for you. Super easy.

      Not that easy.

They need US address for US based business or you need to cough up 500$ just for virtual business in US. Stripe for Business should be available in your country, example-- India doesn't have a solid Stripe solution yet. I suggest Paddle.

Ahh yes, of course – if Stripe isn't available in the country it's not so simple :-)

However, if Stripe is available, then it's possible to charge in any currency regardless of location.

Nothing, just use another system or waiting for a climate change, find a foreign partner or initiate immigration process if no solution yet
