ChatGPT answers about building a startup | Will we use it?

The internet has been exploding with news and updates about ChatGPT. Since it was so trending & everyone’s trying it out, we also had a GOOD TALK today:

RatePunk chat with ChatGPT

Jokes and marketing in completely inappropriate places aside: if someone missed out, it's a language model created by OpenAI, trained to create human-like responses and keep a dialogue. And after millions (literally, millions) of people testing it out for free, it has been doing very well so far. When ChatGPT is completely finished and not in the testing stage, the program could be widely used in practice: a few examples could be digital marketing, online content creation, and customer service.

I gave it a shot and continued my conversation with some general questions that I had at some point of building my own startup:

❓ My startup is a free browser extension that compares hotel prices live and shows the cheapest hotel option in seconds. What are the best marketing techniques for it?

Marketing your startup can be a challenging task (don’t you tell!), but there are a few techniques that may help you promote your product effectively. Here are a few suggestions:

✅ Utilize social media.
✅ Run a paid advertising campaign.
✅ Collaborate with travel bloggers and influencers.
✅ Offer special deals and promotions.
✅ Utilize email marketing.

❓ Generate the best keywords for a travel browser extension that shows the lowest hotel price.

Here are a few potential keywords that could be used for a travel browser extension that shows the lowest hotel price:

  • "Cheap hotel deals"
  • "Lowest hotel prices"
  • "Best hotel deals"
  • "Compare hotel prices"
  • "Discount hotels"
  • "Budget hotels"
  • "Affordable hotels"
  • "Cheap hotel rooms"
  • "Cheap hotel reservations"
  • "Save on hotels"

These keywords are focused on the value proposition of the browser extension, which is helping users find the lowest hotel prices. By using these keywords, you can help potential users understand the benefits of your product and encourage them to try it out. It may also be helpful to include keywords related to specific destinations or locations, such as "cheap hotels in Paris" or "discount hotels in New York City," to target users who are interested in specific travel destinations.

❓ What team do I need to hire to make this browser extension true?

The specific team that you will need to hire to develop a browser extension will depend on the specific features and functionality of your product. However, here are a few roles that you may need to consider when building a team for your browser extension:

✅ Product manager: The product manager is responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the product. They work closely with the development team to ensure that the product is delivered on time and meets the needs of the target audience.

✅ User experience designer: The user experience (UX) designer is responsible for creating the overall look and feel of the product, as well as the user flows and interactions within the product. They work closely with the development team to ensure that the product is intuitive and easy to use.

✅ Front-end developer: The front-end developer is responsible for implementing the visual and interactive elements of the product, such as the user interface and user interactions. They work with the UX designer and the development team to ensure that the product looks and functions as intended.

✅ Back-end developer: The back-end developer is responsible for implementing the underlying systems and technologies that power the product, such as databases and server-side logic. They work with the front-end developer and the development team to ensure that the product is scalable and reliable.

✅ Quality assurance engineer: The quality assurance (QA) engineer is responsible for testing the product to ensure that it is free of bugs and works as intended. They work with the development team to identify and fix any issues before the product is released.

In addition to these roles, you may also need to hire additional team members, like a marketing specialist to help promote your product or a customer support specialist to help answer user questions and provide assistance.

After taking a look at these 3 simple questions, it seems like it’s covering all the basics that could make the life of startuppers easier, making it better than Google search by personalizing the answers to a particular product. However, everything great always has some drawbacks: the system seems to have quite a lot of inaccuracies at this stage, and the most complicated part about it is how sure it sounds about it being right.

After reading all these, do you think it will be loved by entrepreneurs? Would you consider using this on your projects?
