Cheap Bulk Email Service -- Unlimited Contact List (Any Pointers)
Hi.
Looking for any pointers/insight to vendors providing bulk email services for unlimited contacts.
While I wouldn't need anything close for now, I'd like to be able to handle 500K emails/mth, as well as handle unlimited contacts.
Most providers seem to cap the contact list, or to charge a price that's too high.
I was using Close CRM connected to my Gmail to bulk send emails to contacts. Pretty sure that results in all my emails getting flagged as spam.
Now I'm using SendGrid. Pricing isn't bad.
If price is the only concern then how about AWS SES? It's $0.0001 per email so 250k would be sub $25 (first 3k are). Pricing here -> https://aws.amazon.com/ses/pricing/

I've never set up a "system" to manage the operations involved with being able to send emails to potential users for a platform i'm working on.
The basic idea is to have an ad based platform where local businesses do a monthly Ad buy. This gets the advertiser the ability to place "ads" as well as email/connect to the college users who use the platform.
A "high" case is the thing grows to 500K users/5000 advertisers.
So, the process would need to handle the 500K contact/user emails, as well as allow for ~1million emails/mth..
So, right now trying to get my head around the external resources required, as well as what management tools (open source websites) are available.
