Cheaper mailbox service recomendation

What services do you recommend for setting up a business email?
I tried zoho which is free up to for 5 email accounts.
Also tried namecheap email, I think it’s $5 per year per mailbox.
I know that google for business is awesome but I’m looking for a cheaper option.
If you're a solo entrepreneur, you can get 30 different emails for $5 with G Suite aliases. This would let you send and receive email from you@siteone.com, you@sitetwo.com, support@sitethree.com, notifications@sitefour.com, etc. under a single account.
If you need mailboxes for multiple staff members, you could try something like greatmail.com (haven't used it myself, can't speak to if it's good or not). It starts you off with 15 mailboxes for $15/month total. Every additional mailbox is another $1.
Edit: Hover also provides 10GB mailboxes for $1.67/month and 1TB mailboxes for $2.42/month. I love using their domain service, so their email service might be good.
Huh, that hover option actually looks great! $29/yr for 1tb of storage, linked cal and email is a great deal. It's almost tempting me to move my domain back to hover from namecheap.
yes, the 10gb for $10/yr also looks good. I was paying $10/yr for 3gb on namecheap.

If you want cheaper than Google Apps , then namecheap emails are definitely worth a shot. I use namecheap emails for one of my domains and so far it has been good for the price. Hard to beat google apps flexibility but overall a good value for the price.
Why not just use your web host for e-mail management? Most provide plenty of mailboxes and it works under your domain as well.
