Checkout and Payments Collection Tool (Idea)
Problem -
Many businesses spend too much time building a checkout and integrating a payment gateway for payments.
Solution -
Build a no-code tool that helps you create checkout pages and you will have full control over what field you would like to fill, documents to upload, and pricing (could be based on details).
Alternatives -
Typeform - It can do something like that but single page input does not really work for checkout pages IMO.
Any thoughts?
RazorPay Does that right ?
Yeah, payment pages do that, sort of. But the difference is it is designed to handle a few fields and is not good for step-wise checkout or multiple fields. It also doesn't accept files so no way of collecting documents. Also, payment pages don't let you add custom domain which does not make it feel like you are on the same website.
Do you use Payment Pages? May I ask for what? and if you think these features would be something you want?
I think if you are looking for a no-code solution most people are already using some kind of no-code tool to build the base of your page so you're solution has to be integrated here. Maybe a more specific use case would make it clearer. / Check out pages for what type of product?
My plan is to make it as flexible as possible so ideally it can be used for any type of product or service. I might focus more on services because for buying product fewer fields are needed but for professional services, I can see value in needing more fields, uploading documents, etc.
Off the top of my head, maybe legal services (not litigation)? like property agreements and stuff.
You are right, I might need to research some applications so I can sell to specific customers and tell them how can they use my product. I'll research more on applications.
