Cheers to a very successful KickStarter Launch Day!

Today was a very successful launch day!

We hit $600 in funding after the first two hours and rose to over $1,000 before the end of the day. For a 60 day KickStarter in a niche, cybersecurity field, I'd say that's pretty great!

SketchyReq is a solution for cyber security researchers that often find themselves having to fetch malware and other files from malicious domains. It eases confusing and often unsafe methods of fetching malware by creating single-use virtual private servers that detonate after each request. You can find out more by watching the video on my KickStarter page, linked at the bottom of the post!

Even better is having people reach out to say that it's an awesome idea and tell me things they'd like to see added to the product to help their daily workflow. It's been awesome to get constructive feedback and hear from people who are already interested in using it. Word of mouth is working really well thus far, so I'm psyched to see what kind of reach it gets later.

Now, I have to start working down my "hit list" to start marketing to specific individuals who can likely contribute and will likely be able to use the SketchyReq product in their daily work. Marketing is a super alien concept to me, so I'm running on zero knowledge at the moment. I'd really like to reach out to media, but I have no idea who to talk to about a project like this!

Any hints?
