Choosing a WordPress hosting for my woo-commerce shops

I own a few eCommerce websites running on WordPress and looking forward to building a few more (a total of 5 websites).

Stating my needs

I put some thought into what I need and those are my criteria:

  • Be able to host multiple websites on the same account
  • Decent speed
  • SSL - I hate when I need to setup those things
  • Good support
  • Pricing - renewal price should be around ~10$ a month
  • Backups - advantage

If it's your first time hosting a wp website, know that renewal price is the major pain

Comparing and discovering hosting

There are a few websites to compare hosting plans and reading reviews, my favorite is hosting advice

As a strategy, I look only at 4.9 stars with 200+ reviews hosting.
Visiting the pricing page and reading thoroughly.
Lastly, I read the worst reviews to see if any pitfalls are there.

Those are the top options I found

Last time I researched Cloudways was a winner - hosting all my Woo sites on there.

Interesting - which plan did you choose?

I'm on the DigitalOcean $26 Managed Wordpress, works like a charm so far.
