Hey Alex, FirstTab looks really promising.
I actually built a Chrome extension a while back called TagTabs (mostly focused on tagging tabs during web research) that tried to address a similar problem. It wasn't quite as polished or feature-rich as FirstTab seems to be, though. 😅
