Chrome Extension idea: highlight ads on search results

Reading Jason Fried ranting about Google Ads https://twitter.com/jasonfried/status/1168986962704982016 gave me an idea to a Chrome Extension: to highlight ads on search results, as they are being disguised by Google as organic search result item.

What do you think about it?

You could do it for a bunch pf websites like Product Hunt as well. Sometimes the featured products trick me into thinking they are one of the submissions.

Yes, Reddit has promoted posts as well

How would you monetize this and is it not again google policies?

I don't think anyone would pay for this. Unless it was like $5 for lifetime access. Even then, I doubt it.

YESH, this is awesome. Is there a way to build something that my mom can use on android's chrome browser?

She always clicks on the first link.
