Churn Out Or Dig In: Turning Customer Churn Into Positive Growth

Churn Out or Dig In: Turning Customer Churn into Positive Growth - Churn Buster

Reducing churn isn’t just damage-control, it’s an opportunity to dive deeper into your product.

Ultimately, how you approach churn will determine how well you can relate to your customer base.

Will you cycle through customers, churning and burning your way through, or will you dig into those relationships and unleash an unlimited growth potential? The choice is yours.

Churn Buster, Profitwell. Trying to understand who does dunning better because Stripe tells me each month how much they saved me. How can these companies save us more on top of what Stripe has saved us?

Hey Travis, awesome question I'm glad you asked!

      Here's a basic run-down of how Stripe's dunning works:

-Strip automatically retries any card that fails
-Every time Stripe retries a card, an automated email is sent to that customer ("Your card information is out of date, please update")
-Payments are either recovered via the card retries or the customer manually updating their card information (or they are not recovered, and the customer churns)

This seems pretty standard, right? And you would think it's enough, but taking it a few steps further can have incredible results for revenue recovery (which is where a tool like Churn Buster comes in).

Rather than me writing out a few pages here, I'll link you to a really helpful resource that compares Stripe's basic dunning system to Churn Buster:

If you have any more questions or thoughts I'd be happy to add to this, so just shoot me a response!

Thanks for reading and reaching out :)
