CiteGenius #3 - Any advice on this cold email?
Hey everyone,
This is my third update on my site, CiteGenius, a site designed to scaffold the research process for students.
As of late, I've pivoted slightly from trying to attract individual high school and college students to trying to build functionality that would entice teachers. My goal is that if I can get teachers using the software in their classrooms, eventually I can sell to the entire district. I figure it's easier to sell 1 deal for $10,000 than 10,000 deals for $1.
To that end, I've been reaching out to local teachers to see if they would be interested in piloting the new site for free. I haven't gotten much traction. Is there anything I could be doing better in the email?

My name's Jacob Smith and I am a software engineer, and education enthusiast. I am the founder of CiteGenius, a new site that scaffolds and organizes the research process for students. I'm looking for teachers to pilot CiteGenius in their classes for free.

Teachers are able to leave feedback on student sources, notes, and writing as it happens - no need to wait weeks until work gets turned in.
