Claimio – AI expense management for UK small businesses (IOS live)

Built Claimio after a friend's business was still doing expenses over WhatsApp in 2024.

What it does:

- Employees scan receipts with AI, admins approve in one tap

- Reimbursements happen automatically via Stripe (no manual bank transfers)

- Live GPS mileage tracking for HMRC-compliant claims

- Integrates with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage

Tech stack:

React Native (Expo SDK 52), Next.js 15, Firebase, Azure Functions, Stripe Connect, RevenueCat, OpenAI GPT-4 Vision for receipt OCR

Current status:

iOS live with 7-day free trial. Working on getting first 50 paying customers.
