Just launched my new macOS utility app - ClipCare!
If you’ve ever used Windows, you know how convenient it is to access your clipboard history. I used that feature all the time - but when I switched to Apple’s macOS, I realized how much I missed it.
macOS doesn’t make it easy to quickly reuse what you’ve copied. Screenshots go to a folder, copied text disappears after one use, and finding what you just copied can slow you down.
There are apps out there that try to solve this, but most of them was not as smooth as I wanted.
So I built ClipCare - a lightweight utility app that automatically manages everything you copy like text, images, screenshots etc and keeps it all organized and ready to paste instantly.
Built using Swift, ClipCare focuses on speed, simplicity, and a distraction-free UI - just what you need, nothing extra.
After launch, I received some great feedback from users that helped shape the next updates:
Launch at Startup - ClipCare now starts automatically when you power on your Mac
Custom Shortcuts - users can now choose their own key combinations (since the default ⌘ + . conflicted with VS Code)
Both are live in the latest version, making ClipCare even more seamless to use. I originally built it for my own workflow, but it turned out to be so useful that I decided to share it with everyone.
If you use a Mac, definitely give ClipCare a try - it might just save you a few clicks (and a bit of sanity 😄). If you’re someone who copies and pastes all day or deals with frequent screenshots, give ClipCare a try - it might just make your Mac workflow a little smoother (and your desktop a little cleaner 😄).

Open to feedbacks!
Hey Deb, this is a fantastic utility—a clean, fast clipboard manager for macOS is a constant need, and congrats on executing it well. The simplicity is a major selling point.
I came over from a conversion copy angle (I run Quratulain Creatives, specializing in fixing revenue leaks for SaaS founders), and I see a critical messaging flaw when converting casual users to paid users for this type of productivity tool: The "Free vs. Paid" Value Threshold Gap.
The Flaw (Diagnosis):
A clipboard manager's core function (saving clips) is easy to sell for free. The challenge is making the user feel the pain of staying on the free tier and crossing the financial threshold. Your copy is likely selling the features of the paid tier (e.g., "more slots," "iCloud sync") rather than selling the cost of interruption and professional velocity that the paid tier solves. Why should a busy professional pay to save clips?
The High-Value Fix (Reciprocity Trigger):
To secure high-value conversions, you need to use language that emphasizes the cost of not having the advanced features.
This shift in language leverages Loss Aversion (they are losing time and focus) and positions the paid tier as an essential business tool for professional speed, not just a quality-of-life upgrade.
Hope this high-leverage idea helps you capture more conversions! Keep building!

This app looks very simple, I will give it a try. Maybe you can take a look at CleanClip, I really like its UI and favorite feature.
Thank you! will definitely give it a try. Would love to get feedbacks.
This is a nifty little app! Love it. I can't wait to try it. It is downloading now
Thank you so much! Glad you liked it. Would love to know any features requests that would be helpful or any feedbacks.
This looks really practical - I can relate to missing that Windows clipboard history feature. The fact you iterated on the shortcuts based on feedback shows you're listening to users. Nice work on solving your own problem!
Thank you so much! Glad you liked it. Would love to know any features requests that would be helpful or any feedbacks.
This looks really useful! I've been looking for a good clipboard manager since switching to Mac. Love that you added custom shortcuts based on user feedback - that's exactly the kind of iteration that makes products better. Will definitely check it out!
Thank you! Would love to get your feedbacks!
