You've probably seen things like these on the internet:

It seems like a captcha, but it's not really a captcha. It's a checkbox that either checks on its own or you need to check it manually.
You never see a captcha though.
The tech behind this is by Cloudflare. It's called Cloudflare Turnstile, and several days ago they made it free & generally available to everyone.
According to Cloudflare, Turnstile can detect whether a user is a bot without them solving any captchas. Turnstile states that it's as accurate as equivalent CAPTCHA solutions. So far they have 76,000 users and you've probably seen Turnstile on a bunch of sites (the fact these sites keep Turnstile on for months just proves that it's working).
Why we care: CAPTCHAs are an UX killer. Worse, they' re a conversion killer. More steps to sign up = less sign-ups. Try implementing this on your signup page or any other important page where the presence of bots could mean more $$$ to maintain your SaaS.
I like it! Glad to have this
We use captcha as an option for our form backend service https://fabform.io which our clients use to collect form submissions from their sites. we refuse to use google or cloudfare or any other big invasive tech companies.
this is implemented by scanning through user's browser history right?
pretty sure their fingerprinting is a little more than just that :D
