Clubhouse 2.0 -> Vote On Fan Generated UI/UX improvements

Dear clubhouse lovers,

The clubhouse is undeniably flying high. In my opinion, it is here to stay and will join the social media disrupters like Tiktok and Pinterest. The concept is gold and fits the zeitgeist of being connected.

Being a passionate growth hacker, I am always on the lookout for improvement. By organizing some rooms with randoms and friends, I stumbled upon Andrian, who suggested sharing the design vision on Producthunt.

To use the wisdom of the crowd; we went into these clubhouse improvement rooms, and we asked some questions like:

How often has this happened to you?

  • You are listening to a room while cleaning, exercising, cooking and ran to your phone to follow the speaker, but you were too late. Going through your hair, trying to spot which speaker amongst 12 others shared the wisdom.

  • No matter how many resets you do as a moderator of the room, the topic keeps switching.

  • Wanting to reach a speaker on Instagram but get disillusioned by the number of followers, wondering if your message will ever reach him/her.

Afterward, we went to the whiteboard to sketch out original UX/UI ideas based on communities' preferences, which we transformed using Figma in concept prototypes.

We now invite you to vote so that we can show the founders what the community prioritizes.

That's an overstatement, if I ever heard one. Just because some people talk in some "rooms", it will join the media disrupters?

The concept is gold and fits the zeitgeist of being connected.

Oh really? I think it's just a fad, and while it probably won't go away, it's definitely insanely overvalued right now. Or as I'd like to call it, it's a glorified microphone.

About your product name - I'm not sure you're allowed to use that name like that, unless you'd like a lawsuit coming your way.

I checked with someone else, and I could.

Maybe I am biased towards it, but we will see.

Nobody believed bitcoin when it started. Just see how far they have come.

Just checking if I'm understanding you correctly: you're launching a Clubhouse competitor named "Clubhouse 2.0", and you're looking for feedback on what features to include? Correct?

And, this is also very important: which Clubhouse?

    1. The established (since 2015 or before) project management and collaboration app at clubhouse.io which has three trademarks on the name and (another on the logo design), or...
    2. the relatively new audio-only chat app at joinclubhouse.com, which is for iOS only at this point, and whose name is not yet trademarked but will likely soon be due to their recent VC funding (VC's often provide ready access to a rolodex of affordable, eager, domain-expert lawyers).

It's just my opinion (and I'm not a lawyer), but it feels like now is a great time for you to think of a unique name that doesn't include the word clubhouse in it. :)

Sorry, this is a very confusing title and a post. What are you launching?

It was meant as clickbait, so you read the post. But I have changed it for you.

Thanks for clarifications. I don't think clickbait was necessary. Good luck with your launch.
