I'm exploring the idea of having a co-founder for NoCo, it's a no-code platform already launched with a small number of users.
Someone focused on growth, marketing, and sales would be amazing.
We're trying to make finding co-founders easier. Would love to know your thoughts: https://startupfolk.io/
Hi Andrew, can you tell me more about your pivot back to and API generator! How is it going?
It’s not going well. Nobody wants it.
Hi Andrew,
I'm involved in the #nocode movement and all my life I've done sales, mkt and growth.
Where do you want to go with noco.io ? Do you have a monetization strategy?
Hey Jesus, we charge per project [later, we'll start charging per project editor as well].
This is definitely interesting!
I would recommend you look at doing some how-to-use videos. Specifically some how-to videos that link it with a more popular products (zapier, google sheets, etc.) (I would be interested in potentially helping with this).
I think getting involved in the Maker Pad community could also be a great move too.
Excellent suggestion. I literally just posted this tutorial on Zapier haha. https://blog.noco.io/noco-zapier/
Yeah Maker Pad looks awesome, but they want to charge me $2,000, which just doesn't make sense yet.
I think I can help you with organic growth (I've visited your website a few times before btw). Check my website https://taufikrubra.com
Hi
I have some experience with digital marketing. Let's talk, may be we can come up with something good. Who knows. mail me tarulahsan@gmail.com
Hi Andrew,
The site looks good.
Are you thinking of targeting a specific niche to start with.
Also what will be your main focus of your partner is working on sales/marketing?
Thanks
I don't have a good answer to targeting a niche to start, though I'm open to it. There are a few vertical no-code players and it seems like a prudent place to start though I don't have a good idea as to which niche would make sense.
My main focus will be product, engineering, sales, fundraising, building a team, partnerships.
I have been a long fan of the no-code movement. I have used Bubble and at some point organized a local meetup.
Your best bet is to compile a list of startup incubators (hundreds in the US alone) and sell them on the idea to promote it to their incubated startups. Most of these startups are started by non-technical people. These people can be your early adaptors.
You are in the right business at the right time as this movement has just started to get traction. The road is long, though.
One advantage you have over Bubble is that you allow users to generate the code and take it with them. You should emphasize that in your marketing message.
Good luck!
Targeting incubators is a great idea. I'll give that a shot and see if there's any current there.
Also, love your fund concept.
