.Co vs .Net [poll]
Hey guys I am trying to get a domain for a side project. All good .com domains are taken. I have to select whether to go with .net or .co domains. I need your help.

.com or .app, or else you'll always be looking to upgrade to .com or .app.
app is good if you develop a mobile app, but if its a website I think co is being popular. Do you agree ?
Any software offering is relevant for .app IMO.
I guess it depends on how broad your user base is. As others have said, TLD doesn't matter much if you're catering to a niche user base.
If you're going for the masses, then it comes down to .com and .app in my mind.
In the case of real estate listings, dentists, restaurants, static ecomm, etc, a lower quality .com is likely better than a great name in any other extension.
If you have any sort of software offering, then .app makes sense.
why not co? it confuses with com?
It used to. Just tried again and it looks like chrome autocompletes to whichever you visited last (.co vs .com), so that's cool!
I'm sure .co is fine, I'm just a .com/.app fan.
I used .co for buildfaster.co but only because the .com extension was taken :P
Google treats .co as a generic TLD alough it's the TLD for Colombia.

I also saw they market the .co domain as something for "innovators, entrepreneurs, startups, and creators" (https://domains.google/tld/co/). So I wouldn't be too worried about it.
