Code E-Learning with a heavy emphasis on working with projects.

https://kngslytech.com

I put this up a few days ago, I'd love some feedback.

We are mainly focusing:

  • The basics of coding
  • Super simple videos on working with our existing projects once you have the bases covered.
  • Real projects MvPs

Projects will be mostly AI powered backends.

Hi Tom - it looks like you've already incorporated some feedback!

Overall the design is solid and imparts a sense of legitimacy.

I really like the video content, I'm just curious about how easy it is to get someone to press play. Is there any way to transform that content into graphics that can be consumed while scrolling.

For me most of the wording is still a bit ambitious. You are out to change the world, but I am stuck here in reality. What are some immediate pains that you can help me solve?

I am still unclear as to how you deliver. It would appear that there are videos - is that it? If I am newb, I can definitely find videos. Maybe you could add something about what distinguishes you from, say, Codeacademy.

I love your feedback. I have updated the homepage to contain a feature list below the video.

    Hey Tom

Here’s my review of your landing page.

    Header

Looks a bit sparse/unfinished. Could do with a border/box-shadow or something to separate it from the body of the page.

    Title

Sounds cool, it gives me food for thought - “hmm what’s this?” but it needs more, I don’t actually know what it means.

    Subtitle

I think the title might work with a descriptive subtitle.

    H1 - “Embark on a coding adventure”

H2 - “Learn to build whatever your heart desires”

    Hero image/video

Your message is “embark on a coding adventure”. I expect the video and your copy to talk to me about going from 0 to hero/success/the top etc but it doesn’t. The video starts with a negative “if you don’t use AI your going to lose out”. It should be something more like “Coding is great, you can go from nothing to building amazing websites like X, with AI you can go even faster/be better etc”.

The text below the video is your subtitle I’m guessing. Think it needs to be higher, you’ve got to earn your video clicks, people won’t just watch the video without any context.

    Section: 3 cards

Could do with a title to the section.

Seems to be a typo in your graphic, “internet server error” rather than “internal server error”. Image selection needs some work. For the HTTP 500 error, you’re saying your coding path is an error haha, not the message you want to give to new coders.

Feels like it’s quite wordy without really explaining in plain English what you’re offering. Would you use this language to describe what you’re selling to someone in person?

    Section: blue info box

This is designed like a notification box, granted a new developer won’t know that (your target audience) but think it’s the wrong design choice in principle. It reads like it’s a CTA, so I’d design it more in line with a CTA rather than a notification. Also, regardless of design, it needs a button for sign up/convert (if it is intended to be a CTA).

    Section: Start, learn & create

CTA text is different from the first CTA text of “Start learning now”. Might be worth keeping your CTA messaging constant on the page, one less thing for your users to keep in memory.

    Section: Expert-led Tutorials and Breakdowns

Nice section. I think more details could improve it. What language? What type of projects?

    Section: Join the KngslyTech Community

    Nice section!

    Section news letter

Typo - newsletter is one word, not two.

    General feedback

I would try and step into the mind of new programmers and address some of their concerns. Some concerns might be “difficulty of programming, what language your teaching, how AI will help me or is involved, what cloud platform we’re using, what type of projects will I be able to build after this”.

As a new programmer, I want to take a course for 1 thing. Increase my market value (get a job or make a business). Your landing page has to address those needs in plain English.

    Hope this helps!

      Your feedback is fantastic.

I’m fairly new to marketing so I really appreciate your insight.

No worries! Happy to give another review once you've made some changes

Glad to hear! I updated it a few hrs ago & also uploaded a new video, any feedback is welcome! 😇

Nice work! I like the improvements you've made.

I've created a mini blog post about it on my site here - https://thesaaspilgrimage.com/case-studies/kngslytech-landing-page-audit - I did a redesign of the above the fold section. Let me know your thoughts. Just an FYI - I'm no expert on landing pages (yet)!

Feedback on the things I didn't mention on my blog

            Section: 3 cards

            • Still think it could do with a title and the space background seems random?
            • The length of the cards sticks out to me, in a bad way. My brain is looking for references of other cards that looks similar and I’m struggling to find any, so I feel “somethings off”. The cards can be made smaller by reducing the text or changing the stacking to a 2 and 1 layout.

            Section: Expert-led Tutorials and Breakdowns

            • Nice addition of programming languages, still think it's important to include the type of projects
            1. 1

Wow, you really went above and beyond with this, I greatly appreciate your feedback!

I'll implement these first thing when I wake up, your fresh set of eyes really helps out.

Awesome, DM me on Twitter to continue the convo if you want. I can have a look at your changes every so often - helps both of us!
