Cofounder wanted — Travellar for Business

Some time ago I built Travellar (https://www.travellar.app), a social travel app for solo travellers that helps people discover, share and join activities on the go.

I’m now exploring how to leverage Travellar to build a B2B offering for the tourism industry — identifying real problems faced by tourism businesses and building solutions to solve them.

I’m looking for a cofounder who:

  • Has deep experience in tourism and understands how the industry works.
  • Knows the tools and software currently used by tour operators and other tourism businesses.
  • Has strong industry relationships and can help us find customers and run pilots.
  • Enjoys identifying problems, validating ideas and turning them into products.
  • Is comfortable with sales, business development and marketing.
  • Is proactive, hands-on and excited about building something from the ground up.

A bit about me: I built Travellar from scratch and am passionate about the intersection of technology and travel. I’m looking for someone who complements me with deep tourism expertise, industry connections and a strong commercial mindset.

There’s no predetermined product or business model. The idea is to find important problems in tourism together, validate them with customers, and build solutions people are willing to pay for.

If you have a strong background in tourism and this sounds exciting, I’d love to chat: guillo@travellar.app

What stands out is that you’re deliberately starting without a predetermined product or business model. That makes the tourism expertise and customer access you’re looking for especially consequential to the direction this takes.

Well, I didn’t start it as a business. I just wanted a product to help connect solo travellers

That context changes it a bit. What made you start thinking about turning it into something more?

          Monetization opportunities

That makes sense. Have you started seeing any particular monetization path get more traction than the others?

I have a few ideas, but I think the strongest one would be B2B, hence this post!

B2B makes sense given the direction. Would be good to hear more about that — what’s the best email to reach you on?

Thanks! I’ve just sent it over.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts whenever you have a chance.
