Cold emails are adding 400$ MRR per month to my SaaS

Hello fellow hackers,
I want to bring your attention to one of the best growth hacks out there at the moment for your SaaS: Cold emails.

I've been using Tweetscrape and Instantly to push out around 300 emails per day for my B2B saas, converting at roughly 2% this outbound stream alone is adding 300-400$ of MRR per MONTH!

It's also easier than you expect to get started, just ask yourself: who does my ICP follow on Twitter?
Example: if I'm selling a Shopify app, I'll probably aim at Shopify accounts and some niche influencers that tweet about Shopify apps.

Then I go over to Tweetscrape (https://tweetscrape.com), which we developed, and scrape those accounts to get all their followers' emails. Tweetscrape returns about 8 emails per 10 followers, and the emails are dirt CHEAP, with a bounce rate of < 2%.

Now, I just prepare my email template and start sending over the emails introducing the tool, what problems it solves and how it does it.

If you're not skilled in cold emails, like me, you can get away to sending 200/300 emails per month with absolutely no hassle, but if you're good at it you can scale to 2k/3k per month EASILY.
(Honestly looking for someone skilled in cold emails to scale my strategy, dm me if interested in a position)

And that's it, expect to literally print money.

Not sure if the website is legit service and not someone testing saas idea with non existing product as you can't sign up to the service and blog & about links on the bottom lead to non-existing pages.

200m+ accounts scraped. i have heard that number before. oh apparently twitter had leaked 400m+ accounts & 200m+ were duplicates.

good idea but ik you can't say it.

i had just tweeted about this idea yesterday & today came across it. talk about timing.

I'm pretty sure it's illegal to use stolen/leaked data for advertising.

      1. 2

where do you think they all got their data from? this is the stuff no one talks about but happens more than you think. airbnb did something similar.

you are definitely right though but that's how the op is doing it. 200m+ is a number that makes me think that. op will deny it though. but we can't check the server in any case.

This sounds too good to be true...

How can you possibly find 8 emails per 10 followers? If it's from hacked data, you (and your clients) will be in deep legal trouble, Twitter will not be amused.

    Please think twice before continuing.

But maybe I'm wrong and you have a legitimate way of finding emails from Twitter profiles? Then please explain.

  4. 3

Really? You are saying that you are selling our Twitter email addresses to anyone?

By sending such high volumes of emails everyday, your account will quickly be marked as a spam account by email blacklists, which in turn will see your deliverability rate tank. That's why it's best practice not to send more than 50 or 60 cold emails per day even once your account is warmed up.

Additionally, getting started is simpler than you might think. Just ask yourself, "Who does my ICP follow on Twitter?"
For instance, if I wanted to sell a Shopify app, I would probably target Shopify accounts as well as certain specialised influencers who tweet about Shopify apps.

Why is this post being upvoted? -- It's just a site to take your email. If you try to sign up it says "Application Pending". Signing in takes you to a stock nextjs 405 page.

It has a $150 month tier, but still has the default Vercel favicon, blog/about don't exist, typos in the privacy policy, etc...

Hey there! I just wanted to say that I think your tool is really great. I'm not sure if it's live yet, but the concept is awesome.

My team and I specialize in building LinkedIn email finder SaaS, and we've been experts in cold emailing for over a decade now. Cold emailing has changed a lot over the years, and it's not as easy as it used to be. before it was possible to bulk send emails from a gmail account and land in clear, now the rules are not the same 🤣.

But, there are some practices out there that allow us to send large amounts of emails (1000+/day) and land in the inbox almost all the time.

Cold emailing is all about sending the right email to the right target. It takes a lot of testing and it's not easy but it's the cheapest way to MRR.

      Hey MisterMail,

Cold emails would works even if my Idea is a Saas B2C?

      1. 1

        Hi Jo,

It really depends on the idea and pricing. While I wouldn't recommend a B2C SaaS unless you have a significant budget for marketing, as customers can be hesitant to switch solutions or may not see the value in your product.

That being said, I'd love to hear more about your idea! If you're open to it, feel free to add me on LinkedIn and we can discuss further: https://www.linkedin.com/in/hugo-jean-9aa66425a/

Are you using any tools coordinating your facebook outreach?

Just doing it all manual as I get off the ground.

Sounds amazing, and congratulations on this! Always love hearing about others' successful strategies 🤩Do you have any tips for cold emailing that worked for you?

You cannot sign up to the service and the blog and about links are to non-existing pages, so I am not sure if this is a legit service. https://essentialsclothing.co/

Hi, Interesting. To make it GDPR compliant in EU what sending providers I can use to send my cold emails? Thanks,

    1. 1

I think it's not the email sending providers, Grado/tweetscrape have to show they have the agreement of the email owners.
