Cold Lead suggestions

My company just switch to doing more cloud IT services. Is the a suggested way to go about getting cold leads. I’m having a hard time knowing if I should use email or twitter.

Question: What cloud IT services? Who will be your major user?

Let's try a combination of social media, LinkedIn, email, forum etc

After that, increase your time and resources among the channels that give you a better results.

Things like infrastructure setup, or just setting up individual services people need (servers, dbs, api things). Users would be startups to mid sized businesses.

I wasn’t thinking of LinkedIn. Thank you!

Why not do both and see which one work best for you?

like @donaldng said, why not both? I would even suggest trying all of them and stick with what works the best.

For some reason, lots of developers dislike LinkedIn but if you are in the B2B space, you gotta be there. Don't try to connect with everybody, connect with those who matter and engage with them. There will always be lots of spam but like Twitter, you are controlling those connections and your brand.

I just get mixed reviews all the time. I’ve gotten most of my work from twitter but I don't feel like that would help me get local business like a email would. I’ll try both tho, it definitely doesn’t hurt.
