Colds email strategy...
When you reach out to people for market research via cold email do you use a separate LinkedIn(if you are using LinkedIn ) account than the one that lists your day job? I have a full time position and wonder if it matters how I present myself.
I think if you are reaching out because you are exploring a new product and wanting to help people, I wouldn't care or expect that you are working somewhere else.
At this stage, I don't think there's a need to have the full "facade" that you are 100% on this product/idea.
I think you could but it probably doesn't matter that much. If you think it would help the prospect better understand who you are and what you're asking them, then go ahead and create a new one. For example if you want them to remember your brand name or if it would make them more likely to open the email/message.
