Collaboration CSFs

I'm fairly new on here. I lurked a bit before making a couple of posts seeking a CoFounder. And the response has been good. I am in contact with a couple of people who I feel I can work with and hopefully they found me the same.

Of course it's early days. Relationships are not built instantly.

People are 'guarded' (including me) about their projects and products. Understandably, it's not easy to give everything up to a total stranger on here (Or anywhere).

The critical success factors for healthy Collaboration are surely trust, compatibility, mutual understanding, openness, rapport and communication. These values don't appear overnight either.

Add to the conundrum, the idea of marrying a gregarious, extroverted, confident, in-your-face, Marketing guy WITH a more focused, introverted, deep thinking, developer, and the problem is harder.

Similarly, large differences in ages, culture, background and geography present a lesser challenge.

I got to thinking how collaborative relationships can be fostered and accelerated to productivity across the ether.

IH does a fantastic job and gets everyone so far, but what can be done to match the four 'P's much quicker?? (People, Purpose, Projects, Performance)
