Collaborative Upskill: Share feedback on new idea

From your points & insights you shared I am thinking about nuances of the platform. I understand that I need the idea to be more precise and need to have a better idea about target audience.

I want to build platform for No-code tool specific freelancers to engage and learn from each other about best practices, what's new, how they solve client problems. The why part as in why a no-code freelancer would join this platform is for recognition and gradually earning potential from being top moderator.

I have points to think about for example the format of collaboration. Makerpad does a similar thing in form of tutorials. I will have to build a better idea to get it validated.

Please feel free to share any resources on validating an idea.

Whether someone prefers collaborative learning or watching tutorials depends on their personal learning style. Some people like collaborating with others and getting feedback, while others prefer self-paced learning through tutorials.

I think the best approach is to offer both methods of learning. Collaborative learning can help with understanding and seeing different viewpoints, while tutorials can give a good foundation for self-guided learning. It's important to provide various options for learning so that everyone can find a method that suits them and helps them learn and grow.

I am big collaborative style person for about all things EXCEPT learning. I prefer self-learning initially then collaborative for sharing of results (showcase shares the breadth and depth of the issue at hand).

For example:

• Self-Learning (give me a challenge, let me try and solve it), and then I prefer collaborative (show me how others solved it) or mentor me (show me how I could of done it more easily or with less effort), or coach me (show me what assumptions I made an how those assumptions cost me/adversely impacted me).
• then if a platform was Challenge Driven, then Challenges could be sponsored by business to solve. Challenge xx for $ XXX
• then if a platform was challenge driven, experts or vendors in other non-code tools could come along and show a challenger winner solution in their tool and it was done simpler. Just rehash would not be acceptable.

Every human being has a preference in how they receive information and how they deliver information. They can be extrovert orientated or introvert orientated in both.

If your solution supports all 4 interaction preferences then I sense you will gain better traction. Currently, many collaborative workspaces are geared for the extrovert and have missed the needs of an introvert processor e.g. distraction free, noise free, time to perculolate, time to just be, then re-engage with the collective.

My preference is introvert of receiving information and extrovert of delivery of information.

One point: I do not consider Airtable & Slack non-code platforms. Why would I want an expert to show me anything in these tools? Experts showing use of non-code tools in a specific challenge context, would be more interesting to me. The challenge context is best to crowd sourced or sponsored by a business.

Hey HB, I think not everyone prefers doing collaboration rather than watching tutorials. However those who wants to do collaboration for learning then they are better initial customers. You can engage them deeply and ask for more feedback. So I think it's better to focus on how to find and bring those people to your service.
