Coming Soon or not Coming Soon? Informing users of Features.

So I'm just wanting to get some personal opinions on this topic. I'm going back and forth with myself about not including features in a product I'm building because it's not ready yet and just not showcasing it all on the page with no "coming soon" tag, etc.
I also reference the feature in the copy here and there, but it's not integral to the base experience.
What are your thoughts on "coming soon" labeling to features on a product?
You could use the term "Roadmap" as an alternative which doesn't put any time restraints on the feature
I like that, I do plan to have a "roadmap (patch/update notes)" archive page for people to publicly view most of the major changes to the product. My only issue with the word "roadmap" is the general public does not understand that versus us specialists in those fields using that terminology.
