I've struggled with coming up with ideas for a long time and that made me not take twitter seriously.
In the past month or so, I started writing down my raw "untweetable" ideas as they come throughout my work day (i try to keep an eye open for those with anything I do).
Then when the time comes to tweet I pick one of the ideas, write them in a "tweetable" way and tweet.
Also, any time I see people asking questions and I have something to add - I'd write about it a few days later as a tweet.
Of course - build in public also gives great opportunity, but only on days I made progress with my projects :)
This way, I've been able to maintain a daily tweet streak for almost a full month, and I intend to keep doing so from now on.
What's your way of coming up with ideas?
Also, while you're already here, let's follow each other ! would love to interact with more fellow indie hackers :)

I'm not exactly posting to Twitter much anymore, but I have been on there since 2008 and I was recently asked to solve a similar problem.
I managed to almost fully automate tweet generation in about 10 minutes by using OpenAI and some simple Python scripting. You can pass it a bunch of keywords, or a body of existing text and tell it specifically to generate any amount of tweets for you related to the context.
There are obviously bad ones in the mix because, its... well, AI, but there are usable gems.
The end result was about 1,000 really decent tweets to be scheduled that I didn't have to write myself.

Interesting, 1000 days is really nice :) I keep planning only a day or 2 ahead as I don't get that many ideas, I'm still getting used to look for them as part of my day to day - trying to get to a point where any time I learn something - I check if it's tweetable etc.
I have a mix of things that help me:
Yeah I also share some posts as part of my freelancing job (they ask me to write so it works nicely in that sense hehe), an definitely gotta find more time to hear more podcasts, it really helps too!
