Community as a Business - Chat community for Marketing pros discussing AI

*** The pitch: ***
I believe there is a big opportunity for communities whose sole purpose is to help various career niches (in my space, marketing) navigate and understand how the AI explosion will impact and improve their work. The goal is to develop an active community (likely based in Discord or Slack + a newsletter) initially that simply tries to remove the hype, disambiguate, and speak practically and actively about AI, news, use-cases, and more for marketers.

I believe this can be a big niche play without taking significant startup capital or time investment. I have a job and a side-hustle, I'm not looking to drop those. Instead, I see this as a nice thing to add to my own day-to-day and believe many marketers would join to network and learn. This could also include some kind of 'contributor level' award system that helps people build up their credentials in AI.

*** Why now: ***
AI is transforming marketing, and there's no better time to be at the forefront of this movement. I believe that with the right community focus, this community can drive the conversation and grow strongly.

*** Who am I?: ***
Product Marketing Director at a major technology company, with experience in running a marketing agency, launching ecommerce businesses, and developing a few iOS apps. I've posted here some as well but -- having had my first son last year -- I've been heads-down working on my newest app outside of work hours. Big picture: I have a "get things done" attitude and want to get this project off the ground quickly.

Do you find this compelling and see the value in a community like this?
Does this remind you of any cool businesses I could look at as inspiration?
Do you, or somebody you know, think you'd like to be part of launching this (I'd love to launch this with like, 10 marketers, and not just myself as a collaborative little hustle).
The big one: Yes I'm a marketer but I'm curious how YOU would promote this -- if you have thoughts. Getting momentum is everything, after all.
