Community feedback

Hi guys, we have been working on a project to make insurance easier to get, stop being a royal pain in the a** and will welcome a bit of feedback on what you think.

So, traditional user flow looks something like this:
You go get insurance, they ask you A LOT of information upfront, you give it to them and then they ask nasty questions of things you don't know or you don't have at hand (so it all takes ages) and they finally either give you a quote or (bloody hell) reject you.

At that point in time, you go to another place find more quotes, use an aggregator, find more quotes. Rinse and repeat.

[This takes a lot of time, it's almost a good 3-4 h of work depending on the insurance if not more and not a very pleasant experience. (At least I don't find it pleasant at all.)]

So we have built and are close to releasing:
(1) a way to port your data and not have to repeat it anymore, hopefully, we can get this in a timely manner instead of requesting it and waiting for ages.
(2) a way to get insurance which is quite "enjoyable". I mean not great but compared to what is out there everyone who tried told us it was quite enjoyable.

We looking for:

  • Feedback, thoughts, ideas. All welcome.
  • Find out if there is enough interest. We made this for ourselves but pushing it all the way in insurance takes quite a bit more time and money and effort than in other industries and would love some validation before we push all the way.
  • Find out if this is a big enough pain to other people other than ourselves and our close circle of friends.

We are trying to gather as much feedback as we can before going into a full launch.

We are going to be on the comment or you can do it in here which will help us quite a lot: https://iter.ly/e6izl

You also can sign up here http://www.kippie.co if you think this is good/relevant/interesting/like it :)

Hey. Interesting, but how is it different/better than policyGenius?

Hey @SEOguy well, that's a difficult one. PolicyGenius is great, there is no question around that. In our case though we have worked it all out in a different way. The whole process happens on a chat based view, it's much faster than the current one PolicyGenius has and when we have your data ported there is no need to ask most of those questions and can give you the quote pretty much straight away. There are other more fundamental differences between them and us and would probably say PolicyGenius is closer to Insurify in that respect. We do share though one very strong belief with them which is commissioned people should become salaried when they work in this area.
