Community for Product Managers

Hi All,

I am a Product Manager with about 10+ years of experience, currently working in Europe. I have an MBA from a premier institute in India.

In the last 1-1.5 years, I have had more and more younger PMs approach me for:

1. Resume reviews
2. Interview prep (specificall case studies)
3. General career counseling

I have realized that a community focused only on Product Management is something that is the need of the hour (especially India focused).

I am planning to start working on a very basic website targeted to fulfil this need. The website will provide the following as part of the MVP.

• List of typical questions asked in PM interviews. Community can post their answers and seek feedback.
• All answers can be upvoted by the community
• Moderator (i.e. me and a few other experienced PMs) will critique a few answers and share best practices
• PMs can request for a 45mins 1:1 counselling session with any of the PMs on the panel. Counselling will be offered free initially till we get initial traction
• Specific Product Management related blogs sharing interview prep plans, best practices, recommended books, etc.

Questions for IH community -

1. What do you think about the MVP scope?
2. I am not a coder, so I plan to use a WP template to create the website. Any pros / cons on that approach?
3. What would be the best ways to start driving traffic on the platform?
