Community of Reluctant Marketers

"...for people who don't want to do marketing but feel they must."

Last week, I founded a new community where we explore calm ways to do marketing, no noise-making necessary. 😄

Currently, it's just a bunch of people in a bunch of Mattermost channels. Mattermost is very much like Slack (but open source).

The idea is to create marketing models for everyone, share them with each other, and get feedback on them.

A marketing model consists of basic building blocks like

• product
• feature
• benefit
• quality
• job-to-be-done
• story
• persona

We will create these things and share them with other members. This will be fun and learning.
