Company registration legality question

Hi indie hackers,

I am working on a data engineering online course.I am planning to live in Japan (I am not a US citizen) but was wondering what the best country to register the company was in terms of

  1. ease of company registration online
  2. does not require owner of company to be physically present in the registered country
  3. Not a lot of taxes
  4. Able to sell course content across the globe

Did some googling and found options ranging from Puerto Rico to Hong Kong, but wanted to get some thoughts from people who have been there and done that.

Any recommendations on where I should register the company at? or any resources?

Thank you

Hey! I'm reviewing some of the best ways to do business and I found that when setting up company in singapore was the best country to register the company. Minimum requirements for authorized capital (1 Singapore dollar) and wide prospects for the Asian market. You don't have to fly to Singapore to register a company. Have a look here https://osome.com/sg/incorporation/
I am sure that this information will be useful not only to me.

If you are considering the US, let me know! We've just launched a platform that lets you incorporate, get a bank account and phone without having to visit. Our process is completely online and cost a flat $599 https://startglobal.co/process.html

For your use-case, maybe you could do a Delaware LLC, but I am afraid if my opinion maybe a little biased here :)

Thank you @sanjaynediyara A lot of people I spoke with mentioned Delaware LLC. I wanted to read your blog at https://blog.startglobal.co/delaware/ but I think the blog is not setup. Will try again in a few days. Thank you again :)

You can consider Estonia, as they have made it relatively simple.

@bextol absolutely, I don't have a business yet wanted to get ideas on how to start one.
