So this is an interesting topic. The problem with front-end dev is it's never "done". Always a pixel to move around. It's way more subjective than backend dev. I believe front-end is actually generally harder than backend, such as building interactive JS apps. This is in spite of the back end often being called "easier".

That said, the back-end API is infinitely complex (e.g. Google) while the front-end API calls has finite complexity (browsers can only do so much, only so many HTML standards, etc). So if you're a Google front-end engineer, your job is potentially way simpler and more straightforward than their back-end engineers jobs.

Compared to the backend, changes to the frontend, UI and logic (based on testing) is alot frequent. However, the backend do need a lot more logic to configure it correctly, scale the architecture, and reduce constraints. More often backend is too repetitive compared to frontend and needs changes while countering problems in scaling!

Businesses ultimately provide their products to the customer, who is only interested in the outcome. They won't complaint unless their UX is being suffered.

Without the frontend or with a poor frontend, the user cannot interact with the app, which ultimately affects leads and sales. Similarly, without a solid backend, even with the best-looking UI, the user won't be able to access their data.

Conclusion: Both of them are there for a reason and must be equally focused!

It depends on how much you want to learn. You can learn horizontally meaning learning as many technology as possible, or vertical, be specialized in something...

The backend is easier than frontt if you are a very technical person and if your not very much technical person then frontend will be best and you will also be interested in the frontend!

    i love the frontend development!
