Completely new project, feedback appreciated

Hey folks!

I very recently launched https://onsubmit.app. This is the first side project that I managed to release (after tens of never-finished ones) and I would really appreciate some candid feedback about the product in general, and the landing page in particular.

Sorry for intentionally not adding too many details about the product itself here; I'd like to know how clearly the landing page explains it!

Thanks a lot for the help!

I'm a non technical founder and don't understand the word 'mark up'. Can you dumb it down? This could probably help to increase your user base.

Firstly, great job shipping a product that’s amazing in itself and this seems like your off to a great start.

As for feedback, the thing that stood out to me was this seemed very developer centric, terminology the framing. The problem you seem to be solving is avoiding a backend for forms. But I don’t know if that’s the problem the people who will be buying the product are trying to solve. Maybe it is you have the answers.

They probably don’t cate whether your using a backend or not they want to ask for user feedback and they want to be able analyse it.

So I’d double down on what problem your trying to solve and ensuring the copy reflects that.

    Possible problems:

    • privacy concerns developers need a library that doesn’t expose feedback to 3rd party backend
    • customers want customisable/themable forms to match their own ux
    • providing a form solution that the customer controls kinda like a white label solution and doing it on front end makes it easier for them to manage.

Again, I want to say well done getting this far your 100% further than most people get, look forward to seeing your upcoming success

Hey @simnon thanks a lot for the encouraging words and for the detailed feedback, it is very helpful to get some insights about other people's points of view regarding the potential audience. Thanks again!
