Hey everyone,
I've come to the conclusion I hate landing pages lol but based on the feedback I've had I've completely scrapped what I had and redesigned so hopefully its much improved (I think it looks better so hopefully not just me :).
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. The landing page is at https://critimon.com
Hi,
Designing a landing page is hard and if, like me, you have trouble with it you should definitely use a specialized tool.
Results will be 10x better for a tenth of the time spent.
Don't take it bad, but your landing page looks really outdated and not really professional. Just take a look at this landing page of a competitor of yours: https://hyperping.io/ to gauge the difference.
On the bright side of things, you can really easily create a rocking landing page in a few clicks.
Because I am very bad at front-end, in general, I have no shame to say that all my landing pages were created thanks to tools like https://www.launchaco.com/ and https://www.landen.co/.
Good luck to you and your product :)
Thanks for the feedback. I can't see why it looks outdated or unprofessional though. The layout is pretty similar to other landing sites, including what you linked - except I don't have so many images. I've fixed the gradients on the buttons that @indiehacker256 suggested making it look a little outdated and removed the big white button for the sign up in the top menu.

Hey, I’m no expert and I am certainly no designer that’s for sure, so take this feedback with a pinch of salt, but one thing that looked a bit off to me was the blue button shadow and the panel shadow(red) we’re coming from opposite directions - that is, the light source looks like it’s coming from the right on the buttons and the left on the panels - sounds small but I think it might have a subtle visual impact that makes it look not quite right.. :)
HTH
Thanks for the feedback, in the process of fixing that, it was subtle but do agree it looked a little odd if you looked at it closely.
Some good tips from the others
Thanks for the feedback. I fail to see why you think look outdated though. Its smartly structured to other landing pages I've seen which the to carry good feedback.
Thanks for pointing out they pricing link not sure what's happened there.
I think its the buttons, navbar gradient, pricing table and the border on each section. Fix them and it will look 10x
https://d.pr/i/zdiwZQ <- a little bug here
I like the overall structure.
I usually try to steer away from animations unless I can make them work perfectly. In your case, they look fine when you just scroll from top to bottom, but there are many edge-cases when they look weird, e.g. refreshing from the middle of the page: https://d.pr/v/fnPsEQ
You'd need to spend quite some time to get them dialed, and I'm not sure how much value they actually add.
Also, you can consider using one of the freely available landing templates. I've just found this one on Product Hunt: https://www.producthunt.com/posts/cruip but there are hundreds of other on the web. They typically come with all the HTML/JS/CSS and basic structure ready, you just need to insert your text and pictures.
Thanks for your feedback glad you like the new page.
I'll see if I can get the animations to only work when scrolling down if you scroll up because of refreshing while in the middle it stays where it is.
Hi!
Congratulations on the redesign. I've not seen the previous version so I am not sure if the following feedback has been pointed out.
Hope this helps.
Hi thanks for your feedback. Thanks for spotting that z index issue, coz I accepted the cookies ago it didn't show up so never noticed that issue.
The pricing is currently monthly but I'll make sure o put that on the site. Think it did originally but left it or by mistake on the redesign.

Thanks for the feedback. What do you mean about the orange colour mix though there's no orange colours used?
When you say you failed to dismiss the cookie notice in what way, is it because of the live chat icon overlapping, if so I'm in the process of trying to fix that at the moment.
One final question, what sort of adjustment is needed on the sign up button.

It is a gradient of a light red to a dark red. I am considering changing the menu to grey (same as in the footer) as it makes the logo look a bit better but I'm not 100% sure on that idea.
I'll have a look at the gradient of the sign up button, thanks for the feedback, much appreciated
