Connected KOL Tracker to Deployer Hunter, 815 tools, fighting the indexing wall

Update on MadeOnSol — the honest Solana tool directory.

Quick context if you're new: MadeOnSol is a curated directory of 815+ Solana ecosystem tools with free intelligence tools built on top. No paid rankings, ever. Previous posts cover the backstory.

What shipped this week:

  • KOL Tracker is live — monitors what the biggest Solana wallets actually buy on-chain, not what they tweet. Every KOL profile has a Deployer Score showing what % of their buys come from tracked deployers.

  • Connected KOL Tracker and Deployer Hunter so they feed each other. When a tracked deployer launches a token and KOLs start buying, you see it on both sides instantly. This is the strongest on-chain signal I've seen anyone offer for free.

  • Tool count: 600 → 815 across 26 categories

  • Blog guides: now at 120+

  • Removed Wallet X-Ray, CTO Radar, and Token Scanner to focus on the tools that matter most: Deployer Hunter, KOL Tracker, TikTok Trend Detector, and Token Launcher

  • Added TikTok Trend Detector — scans viral TikTok videos that could become memecoins, updated every few minutes, community-scored

SEO / indexing (the ongoing battle):

  • Google indexed: 205 pages out of ~1,580 total

  • 1,365 pages stuck in "Discovered — currently not indexed"

  • Daily impressions: 50-60 with occasional clicks

  • First 7 impressions on Bing

  • Started submitting to real ecosystem directories today: DappRadar (under review), Launching Next, and a few others from a list I'm working through

The indexing problem is 100% a domain authority issue. Google sees all my pages but won't crawl them because I don't have enough backlinks telling it my site is worth the crawl budget. Every directory submission and legitimate backlink helps chip away at this.

Revenue: still $0

Not stressing about this yet. The affiliate links are wired up on trading bot pages — when traffic comes, the monetization path is there. Right now every hour goes into getting Google to actually index my site.

Biggest lesson this week:

Kill features that dilute focus. I removed three tools this week. It felt wrong at first, but the product is cleaner now. Deployer Hunter + KOL Tracker working together is a stronger story than five separate tools that each do something average.

Costs: ~€140/month. Hetzner VPS, Supabase, Kaldera RPC, Resend for email. That's it.

Next up:

  • Solana ecosystem GitHub PR (solana-labs/ecosystem repo) — highest value backlink I can get

  • Data research post using Deployer Hunter stats to create something linkable

  • Outreach to smaller projects I list, asking them to link back to their MadeOnSol listing

  • Product Hunt launch

Happy to answer questions. Especially interested if anyone here has cracked the "new directory with no backlinks" problem.
