Connecting with other remote/indie folks in-person
I’m exploring ways to help independent and remote workers feel more connected to like-minded folks in your area. I’ve been a solo founder for the past 9 months, and I’ve found that while it’s been great to have ownership and agency, I’ve missed the work camaraderie that comes so naturally in a traditional office.
What I’m working on is a service to connect remote/indie workers in-person with other folks doing similar work as you and solving similar problems. The idea is to organize small groups in your local area where you can share knowledge, give each other feedback, support/validate one another, or just hang out with like-minded folks.
I'd love feedback on the idea. Do you relate to the problem? What have you tried in the past to try to solve this?

Have you seen the Indie Hacker meetups that get organised? It might be worth trying to reach out to some of the organisers.
The IH meetups look great! They are similar in spirit to what I'm thinking, the difference would be a focus on forming smaller groups of folks that you can form deeper connections with. Will definitely try reaching out to the organizers, thanks for the tip :)
Hi Vishal. I have the same problem. Actually, I don't have a specific workspace and I work remote. All day I don't meet up with anyone.

Never. I always work at a cafe, library or house. I have tried to do it several times. But I couldn't.
