Considering setting up a Toronto meet up
Posting to see what the interest level may be for something later in January or February, perhaps turning into a recurring event.
For those in the area, what would you like to see from a Toronto meetup? Speakers? Just a netorking event? A work-session? Let me know!

Hey there - I've been out of town for a week so I missed this one. That's a solid plan. Send me an email (available on my profile) if you're interested, and I can set up a Slack group for this to take shape.
I'm thinking a combination of speakers and networking. Not sure about the work sessions at the moment. The initial meeting can discuss and finalize the agenda for Year One.
Sounds like a good starting point - One thing - it might be tricky to get some good speakers lined up in the beginning stages. Maybe could start as networking and then as the community grows after a couple months we can start getting a good mix of speakers via the network.

That works. I'm pretty sure that some early members would be happy to speak. I'm in the Peel region, but do get up to TO fairly often.
