Content Creation with gpt-3

A marketer at my day job was complaining about writing a blog post on short notice. Writing blog posts is typically not part of this person's job.

That got me thinking, is it possible to use gpt-3 or other ml tools to assist with writing marketing copy? Obviously it won't write the articles for you, but there are two directions I could see going with it:

  1. Suggesting alternate or shorter ways to phrase your written content.
  2. Training a new employee to write in a style consistent with existing blog posts.

I'm curious to hear other IH's experiences working with gpt-3 for content generation. Is there a viable product here?

There are many, but the quality varies. Almost every week a new product like that surfaces on AppSumo, some better than others. I have Rytr and it's actually quite good, surprisingly. The key is to not get lazy and use whatever it spits out, my recommendation is to use the output as a starting point and hand-edit from there.

Most of them (if not any) produce useless shit so if you worry about your SEO only, it will be great but if you want to produce some meaningful content I doubt it'd work (from the end user point of view).
