Controversial questions about privacy

Did you ever sell or allowed access to your online data to a private company?
Did you ever take any steps to hide/delete your personal data online?

I am looking into data privacy for my extension and i'm wondering if any of you ever sold your online data or took any action to delete/hide some of your data online (including posts/pictures/payments/etc...)

My personal point of view: i have never put much tought into it. I am trying to find the sweet spot between being exposed and complete anonymity. But i also never took the time to delete anything.

If any of you have experience in personal data businesses, i would like your insight on where most people stand regarding their privacy.

Anyways, i'm curious to here your story if you have one about data privacy.
