conversion feedback for positive community site

I've been making good progress on https://staging.gratefulplace.com/, a site for people to support each other in developing compassion, gratitude, and other positive values. I'd love some feedback on the conversion funnel :)

    I think it does a good job of getting the message across. And I like that after signing up you get encouraged to submit something. I also like the artistic design approach, very refreshing contrast to every other site that looks the same.

    How do you plan to find people who are interested in developing compassion/gratitude?

      that's a great question about finding an audience/traction. My plan is to tweet bout it, do a series of blog posts, post about it in relevant online communities, and finally reach out directly to thought leaders whose mission aligns with what the site is trying to promote. I have no idea what will be effective :)

    I'd say the color of the CTA blends into the background too much. I'd say that's more of an issue of the background being too prominent than the CTA not being prominent enough.
