Converting to an 'Open Startup'
There's this new trend going on where startups post all their important stats and metrics for everyone to see and read - and I really like it.
I think for a product such as mine, Snap Search (http://snapsearch.online), having something like this would be amazing. We have nothing to hide, so full transparency and having something like this would be very natural.
I wanted to know - is there some service or API they integrate? Or is this just a page they create with individual APIs showing the data in charts?

I think it makes sense to write in a blog form to give context and insight comments to numbers.
Share shots of graphs and other data. If possible link to an open dashboard, a tool like re:dash(redash.io) allows you to easily pull data from most data source like DBs and build graphs.

btw, I've used redash for a client and found a more affordable hosted solution as the redash.io pricing just couldn't fly at their startup phase. Let me know if you end up using it, I got uncapped instances for ~29 bucks/month.
If you are using stripe https://baremetrics.com/ can generate an anonimized dashboard you can share otherwise, you can build a similar one yourself
Thing is, there is so much more than income to expose.
Income is one thing to share, which for most startups would just be zero for a while...
Surely some further data is relevant to display, e.g:
So much insight that we have left and right, with poor abilities to display. What's even more interesting is how a founder would benefit from seeing all this data at a glance to see how things are going. That's an idea of an app to manage all of this and provide templates for data to absolutely capture to run a data-centric business.
You can check out Buffer's blog for an example. They publish their salary info publicly.
Yeah that's true. Income is just one thing, and probably least important too.
Unfortunately no Stripe (even though I would really, really like to) as they don't support users from India 😒
EDIT: Just checked Stripe again, seems they now support India users, this is good news. I might move on to that soon.
