I want a really great name for my company. I have some ideas and concepts but I'm no expert. It gets tricky when I also consider registering the domain name and potentially trademarking. Are there great online resources or professionals that specialize in this? Thanks for your recommendations on how to take this to the next level.

thank you
What's your budget like? What kind of names do you like? Does it have to be com?
I would say to just start making a list of words that you like for the company. They can be practical, silly or made-up, but just don't block anything. Just open a text-editor and write down any words that come to mind. They may be related to the problem you are solving, the industry or sector, the region, the products or the solution. Just write. When you can't think of anything else, go back and review the words you like...you may find two or three that work well together. Then there you go...a new name for your company.
Thanks for the reply. This is similar to what I'm doing already. Turns out many of the best names I've come up with are not available with a .com domain and/or trademarked. I figure I'm not the first person to run into this so I'm looking for recommended best practices. e.g. Do youuse websites (which) to help solve these problems? Does anyone hire branding experts online? Who do you use? How much should I expect to spend? Things like that. Thanks again and best wishes.
I also just ran across this article posted on IH: https://lauraroeder.com/how-i-nabbed-the-com-for-my-bootstrapped-startup-without-spending-a-million-bucks-6dc35c4606e9
Focus on product and put a place holder name, do not worry about it, choose a dumb name and when your product get popular it will become a cool name.
I understand your point. That's not my plan tho. I'm very focused on the product and I'd also like a great name on day 1. How do people get great names? Do you hire branding experts? I searched around and found a few online. Anyone go this route/have recommendations? Thanks.
