Lol I know right?! All this was at my work spread out nicely but I had about an hour to set everything up at home due to self isolation before having to do another build etc., so it’s a bit of a mess atm :)

I'm not an anxious person, but I must admit this gives me quite the anxiety attack. Hopefully, it looks more in order now 😂
Ugly office, and beautiful code, hope it compiles into a code that cures the corova, which frameworks are you using by the way?
Unfortunately this is all just for my regular job, however, I have been chatting to like-minded friends about making something that helps people in the community communicate and share resources more while in isolation but I found there were heaps of options out there already that were really good. Still thinking :)
If you are interested I primarily do app development, so I use Xamarin for cross-platform development and AWS Lambda via .Net Core
I always wonder why people want so many screens. I have a thin client with a nice 4K screen connected via remote desktop to a Mac Pro and a huge 64GB 16 core AMD Ryzen workstation. That way, I can alt+tab between operating systems, which I feel is much more efficient than having two screens, two keyboards, two mice, and always having to walk from one to the other.
Plus my office is completely silent, even when the AI is training at full speed, because the computers doing the actual work are on a LAN cable in the basement.
I couldn't work in silence, I am one of those weird people who find it easier to concentrate when I can hear things around me :) I primarily make apps atm, so I have my Mac Mini on the left for compilation and MacOS apps, my Mac Pro has Windows 10 as I do some winforms dev work still and Xamarin for cross-platform.
So you’re on a tight budget then...
I'm doing indie projects on the side. My main employer is doing well, I guess.
But that AMD workstation was surprisingly cheap, as were the 4K screen and the thin client. I'd estimate $2000 for everything apart from the Mac.
And companies who require you to use a Mac workstation should be used to paying through the nose for it ;)
